LANCE NRT users are requested to take note of the Aqua Lunar Deep Space Calibration (LDSC) event that took place on September 23, 2021 (2021.266) between 09:12:28 - 09:52:25 UTC. Users should expect substantial data outage from this event. Furthermore, the Cold Focal Plane Array (CFPA) temperatures take a long time to recover following such events and so significant impact on science data quality is expected, for several hours after the event. The instrument calibration team is monitoring the performance of the different onboard sensors and we will provide further update, confirming the nominal status of the data, once we hear from them. Users are requested to exercise caution while using the Aqua science data products till further confirmation.
