On February 23rd, 2023 (2023/054), the J2 VIIRS instrument was not activated while undergoing the mid-mission outgas (MMOG) mode. The science data stopped at 14:25:42z and the MMOG lasted until 2023/2/25 morning to turn off the heaters, followed by a sequence to reactivate VIIRS and switch back to science mode (2023/2/25 at 8:42z), and then cool down the cold focal planes for another day and half. Due to this event, the impacted granules 2023 054/14:18 - 056/08:36 (inclusive) were not produced.
